With the winter here, Donner Lake can still be accessed by shore or boat. There is a decent shore bite for rainbows using mostly powerbait and salmon eggs. Donner Lake is at 78% capacity.

Donner Lake: Donner has been fishing decent from shore for rainbows
Boca Reservoir: Water levels are dropping as we move closer to winter
Stampede Reservoir: Stampede Reservoir has good size rainbows and cutthroat being reported
Prosser Reservoir: Fishing here can be wide open right now
Jackson Meadows Reservoir: Fishing in the pass creek arm has been good off the shore for rainbows and the occasional cutthroat
Truckee River: Winter is here and the river is fishing well
Little Truckee River: The river still has great flows as they keep releasing water out of stampede

Stampede Reservoir: Stampede Reservoir is now mostly a trout fishery
Prosser Reservoir: Fishing here can be wide open right now with all angling techniques finding some success
Jackson Meadows Reservoir: Fishing in the pass creek arm has been good off the shore for rainbows
Truckee River: The truckee river has become really active over the last couple of weeks
Little Truckee River: The flows on the Little Truckee River have been consistent over this past week
