Boca Reservoir is currently at full capacity, and trout fishing remains steady throughout the lake. Shore anglers are finding success near the dam using Kastmasters, Panther Martins, or PowerBait and worms on a slip sinker rig. Fly anglers should also consider targeting the Little Truckee River inlet, which has been producing quality fish. The kokanee bite has been fair, though most fish are still relatively small. Anglers targeting kokanee are having the most success trolling flashers paired with wedding rings.
