Mack bite is quite good. Clients of Gene St. Denis are catching macks ranging three to eight pounds with a good showing of 10 pound plus fish. Best method is trolling dodgers and minnows at depths ranging from 120 to 260 feet. Toplining also can get macks, browns and rainbows. Gene St. Denis. Mackinaw fishing is excellent off the north shore, particularly Cal-Neva Point and Dollar Point. Macks are in 100 to 200 feet deep. Dodgers and minnows, Flatfish and kokanee-patterned Trophy Sticks get macks in the two to six pound range. There are larger fish near the shelves. Kokanee are gathering for their run up Taylor Creek. Most are turning color. Jigs get mackinaw from 120 to 200 feet of water.
