It's going to get wet. We have some strong Pacific storms that are hitting Nor Cal starting today into the weekend. Snow levels will be high which means rain for anything under around 7500-8500 feet. Water temperature is 56 degrees and fishing remains good for boats, so-so from shore. However, pressure has been light because of poor weather. Mackinaw fishing is excellent off the north shore, particularly Cal-Neva Point and Dollar Point. Macks are in 100 to 200 feet deep. Dodgers and minnows, Flatfish and kokanee-patterned Trophy Sticks get macks in the two to six pound range. There are larger fish near the shelves.
