South Shore: Gene St. Denis: I've been fishing at Camp Richardson and Ski Run Shelf. Trolling at 45-60 feet at Camp Rich and then going deeper to 150-240 at Ski Run, with silver Herring Dodger flasher blades and live minnows.

East Shore: Gene St. Denis: Toplining is dead slow to good, dependent on the day. I'm toplining Rapala. Rebel or A/C lures in 15-25 feet of water for rainbows, Mackinaw and browns at Deadman's Point, Logal Shoals and Sand Harbor. Getting 0 to 4 fish per trip. Tim Wilson of the Pyramid Lake Marina and RV Park at (775) 476-1156: Fishing has been a little slow but it is picking up. The majority of the fish are being caught at about 30 feet deep, close to shore, with the standard lures: Apex and Flatfish. Fly fishing has been decent with Woolly Buggers and lots of Nymphs and Cooper Johns.

Jeri Grellman of Sparks of Hog Charters (358-5199): Chris had a client out on Friday, who lost a 10-pounder right at the back of the boat. They were trolling deep water near Spider Point. On Sunday, Chris took a friend out and they caught and released 20 cutthroat, with the largest being 23 inches.
