A chance of wind and rain this weekend with some unsettled weather for the majority of the extended forecast has me excited to fish the lake! That doesn’t seem like much, but to these Lahontan Cutthroat Trout that is enough

Fish Activity is Picking Up

by RENO FLY SHOP
The Truckee River has seen a bump in flows from our last Report. The downtown gauge is sitting at 350 as some water is being released from Tahoe and Boca. We are seeing fish activity pick up as the days get longer and water temperatures begin to creep higher. Nymphing the slow to medium/slow water with indicators or with ESN techniques have all been effective.
