First time ice fishing for my grandson at Eagle Valley. We had some nibbles but unable to hook anything. A few folks were catching some fish. Ice was very thick. Pretty much the entire length of the blue portion of the auger! Over 24”!

This is a great catch from Rotary Park area. Our local angler Jaysn Ochs landed this striper while fishing from shore using a swim bait. Jaysn had just picked up his limit of trout and started throwing his favorite lure. This beast of a fish weighing in at 27.96 a nice 28-pound surprise and was 41 inches in length. It’s been a bit slow so I had to go out and catch a couple of fish. I got a Largemouth Bass in one hand and a Redear in the other. These are best found in our back waters like the Laughlin Bay area.
