Anglers have been successful from the shoreline as well boats in their search for double-digit stripers

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
Anglers have been successful from the shoreline as well boats in their search for double-digit stripers. Jointed swimbaits, many from local lure builders, are catching the fish. Cut anchovies are taking smaller stripers. Rainbow trout are biting along Casino Row and through The Bend. Sunset PowerBait and spinners will get the most bite action.

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
Anglers are catching striped bass and rainbow trout throughout the Willow Beach area. The federal fish hatchery is stocking the trout near the Willow Beach Fishing Pier at the end of each week. The rainbows tend to school up after being released. Trout tend to take Rooster Tails and night crawlers right after sunrise. Striped bass, some in the double digits, are chasing jointed swimbaits

The bass bite was tougher for most of the past week as the fish moved deeper

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
The bass bite was tougher for most of the past week as the fish moved deeper. Stripers are hitting live shad and cut anchovies the most, but three-inch silver swimbaits are a solid backup option. Kastmasters and Jumpin’ Minnows also can be productive for subsurface fish. Anglers are seeing some crappie action with jigs in the Overton Arm.

Rivieria Marina Fishing Report

Hey everyone, it’s me with a couple of stripers I caught a couple of years ago. I’d love to get some local and visiting anglers involved by bringing in their catches so we can share your stories! You don’t need to land a big fish – any catch would be great. I know trout are still coming in, so a few rainbow trout would make

Rainbow trout have been the primary catch below Casino Row

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
Rainbow trout have been the primary catch below Casino Row. Anglers fishing from boats and the shoreline are catching rainbows using PowerBait, night crawlers and spinners. The striper bite has been inconsistent though there is always the chance of catching a double-digit fish that is looking for a plump trout.

Most striper catches are being reported from the north and south ends of the reservoir

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
Most striper catches are being reported from the north and south ends of the reservoir. Boaters have been successful using deep diving jerkbaits in shad and minnow patterns. Black bass action remains slow, likely due to the cooler mornings. Kayakers are catching rainbow trout with soft plastic worms in pearl and olive colors north and south of the Willow Beach marina. A few anglers have

We are sad to report that our ice is basically gone. Our entire shore line has several feet of open water along with the majority of the upper end of the lake. Please do not go out on what ice there is! #nvstateparks #vistlincolncountynv #pioche #ndow

I had to dig this one up from a recent Mohave Fishing Club picture. Our local anglers are mentored by Gary Regan from our local high school. Gary, along with various assistants, takes groups of local youth out fishing. They mostly target stripers using anchovies while fishing from shore, hitting different spots along the Colorado River with great success. This club is open to anyone who

12.84 lb. Striper on the Colorado River

by RUSTY
With all this wind and cold weather, how about some river fishing? This time of year, our water levels are low, with some fluctuations, but mostly low releases from the Davis Dam. Our local angler, Bryan Werkmeister, was fishing from the shore at the Community Park area. He was using a swim bait and landed a nice striper weighing 12.84 pounds and measuring 32 inches. However,

Small craft warnings have kept most anglers and boaters on shore

by RUSTY
On Lake Mohave, small craft warnings have kept most anglers and boaters on shore, waiting for a break in the weather. The waves can get quite high and could swamp a boat if you're not careful. As a reminder, it's always a good practice to let someone know your plans and expected return time before heading out on the water—this applies even on calm days.
