by KENS SPORTING GOODS STAFF
The Sceirine is still fishing well, though like the California side we haven’t heard much about streamers. There is still some good dry and nymph action down there though. In addition to the flies mentioned above they are still eating some smaller golden stone nymphs and there has been some decent dry/dropper action with big uglies on top like a chubby Chernobyl and a caddis

Private Outing on Lake Tahoe

by MIKE NIELSEN
Nice lil private outing yesterday! So many folks are choosing the private boat to fish alone. We generally get about 25-40 percent of our trips booked as private trips anyway that way the team can dictate how or what we fish for! Don’t jump on a boat full of strangers. Take your own private guided tour!

In the evening, anglers have been seeing good dry fly activity. Some flies to try in the evening are

You’ll have your best fishing morning, and again very late in evenings. The fishing has been good. Flows are still kinda up. We’ll crush some numbers when they drop a bit and we can access and cross the river easier. Typical

Fishing Action Has Been Good For Crappie and Bass

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
Fishing action has been good for crappie and bass. Trout action has slowed a bit. The best action has been during the morning and towards sunset. Aquatic weeds are starting to block some of the shoreline access. Try jigs and plastics to stay out of the weeds. Nymphs, Woolly Buggers and Montana Nymphs are productive fly options.

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
Fishing has been good. The early morning and evening hours provide the best action with the fish shutting down during midday. Trout have been taking PowerBait with some sparkle. Gold spinners have been effective when the trout are off the bottom. Crappies and bass are also taking an assortment of spoons and jigs. Fly fishermen have been doing well using dragonfly nymphs and olive Woolly

Best Action in Early Morning & Evening Hours

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
The best action has been found during the early morning and evening hours. Anglers are using PowerBait or night crawlers. Bass and crappies are hitting on jigs and plastics. Aquatic vegetation is making it difficult to launch a boat. Overcast skies can help fishing throughout the day. Stay safe and check the weather before you head out.
