Las Vegas Urban Ponds Fish Report

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
Catfish action was fast and furious following the first plant of the season, but slowed as the fish settled into their new surroundings. Anglers have caught fish with various baits including hotdogs and worms. One angler even caught fish on pieces from a sausage patty. Trout are still taking PowerBait in most of the ponds and color doesn't seem to matter.

Lake Mead Fish Report

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
A full moon and rising temperatures are getting the blame for a sudden slowdown in fishing action, but anglers have found that getting an early start has improved fishing opportunities. Stripers comprise most of the catch, and anglers have found success while working spinnerbaits along the shoreline in the early morning. Largemouth bass action has slowed, but a 6.98-pound fish took big fish honors at

Pyramid Lake, NV Fish Report

by NOR CAL FISH REPORTS
The water temperatures have gone from 44 degrees to 50 degrees in 6 days. There is some really off colored water on both the North end and the South end of the lake due to this. It appears that the lake wants to turn over soon. High pressure has dowsed the wind and made the fishing really tough over the last two days. It is

The ranch has also fished excellent this past week, lots of good dry action as well as nymphing and some streamer action. With the weather warming up it will soon be time to fish some crawdad patterns like a dead drift crawfish as well as some larger streamers. The patterns that are working on the Cali side will also work on the ranch.

The ranch has also been fishing very well, there's been a couple tough days because of the wind and weather but most days it's been pretty good. On the warmer days the skwala's are coming off and the fish are looking up for them so the dry action or dry/dropper action has been pretty good. Refer to the pattern list above as these flies will

Last weekend the catch rate was 2.2 hours/fish (boat= 2.6, shore= 1.9), which was better than the previous weekend; 2.4 hours/fish (boat= 4.3. shore= 1.7). Maybe it will be great fishing next weekend for the Hook, Line, and
