Lake trout bite is strong. Mike Nielsen has been trolling from 90 to 220 feet deep and getting macks three to six pounds. An 11 pounder was caught earlier in the week. The Sceirine has been fishing very well also, there's lots of 20+ inch fish being caught down there each day. Stones, birds nests, pt's and the like have been good, as well as dry/dropper rigs with a big chubby chernobyl or madam-x on top and a nymph on the dropper.

Robert got the good honors today down on the Nevada side of the Truckee River. Fishing was easy, and we rode the gravy train all day. Sure, some were planters, but we did hook some big wild fish. Nights are cool and the fishing is good. Both states are fishing well, and G.G.S. has miles upon miles of river to fish.
