The water level has been drawn down so the Nevada Division of State Parks can make repairs to the dam. This has resulted in muddy shorelines that make access to the remaining water difficult. Repairs will keep water levels until after the New Year.

Stripers are still chasing topwater lures right after sunrise. Anglers are reporting larger striper catches when jigging at depths around 100 feet. Black bass action is hit and miss, with anglers finding the best bite from Callville Bay through Government Wash. The fish are taking crankbaits in shad and crawdad patterns, as well as a variety of floating baits.
