Topaz smallmouth on the charge

Smallmouth bass bite is very good. A good number of 3 to 4 pounders are being caught-and-released. Action is on the southeast side of the lake. Fishing for brown trout in the shallows has been productive. Guide Mike Nielsen had 11 browns on two trips Tuesday. Most trips get 3 to 8 browns weighing between 2 and 4 pounds.
