Fishing Guide Hans Moxley checked in today with an update from Lake Tahoe. Today we had very good fishing for large Mackinaw Trout.

No major changes in flows yet on the Truckee River. Still pretty big, but the fishing is good. Mostly nymphing and streamer fishing. The streamer fishing has been pretty good the last couple weeks. Big and nasty, think sculpins and crayfish. Nymphing is always good. Good nymphs are-green drakes, golden stones, march browns, baetis, worms, and crayfish. Attractor nymphs are good too.
