Carson forks stuffed with trout

Truckee trout active

Very low flows above the Boca outflow. Flows have also dropped below Boca as they are releasing 110 cfs out of the Dam. Water temps have come up and fish are more apt to sample your offerings now. Lots of BWO's, Midges, March Browns, Stones, and even some sporadic Caddis activity. Fishing has been pretty good with a mix

Tahoe trout bite turns back on

Topaz smallmouth on the charge

Smallmouth bass bite is very good. A good number of 3 to 4 pounders are being caught-and-released. Action is on the southeast side of the lake. Trout bite is so-so although a good number of 3 to 4 pounders have been weighed in over the last two weeks. Rainbows are being caught by trollers in the center of the lake. Truckee trout worth chasing

River is low along the Glenshire stretch. Flow is at 490 cfs past Boca. River will be a little off-color for the next few days but it shouldn't hurt fishing. Fishing has been quite good and that should resume. Blue wing olives and some stonefly action is taking place. There were some March browns but snow will halt that. Shore anglers score big at Pyramid

Fishing has been fair. Shore fishing has been good at Wino, North Nets and Pelican. Trolling is equally good in the north and south.
