Guide Mike Nielsen is fishing for browns and mackinaw in the shallows to depths of 150 feet. Fish are in transition, moving from shallows to deeper water but fish are feeding heavily. Snow last Friday, wind over the weekend kept anglers off the water. Wednesday was the first day a good number of anglers could get out and pursue trout. Smallmouth bite is picking up. There are good conditions to the Prosser outflow and then it gets bigger below the Boca outlet. Use caddis during the day. Green drake nymphs offered along the bottom may work.
