Current Water Conditions Flows measuring 289 CFS out of Tahoe City, 314 CFS through the town of Truckee, 494 CFS by the Boca Bridge, and 549 CFS near Farad. Flows are still really great for this time of the year and the watermaster is still releasing a good bit of water from Lake Tahoe into the Upper Truckee River. The boat ramp and boat dock remain open despite low water levels. Surface water temps are rising into the mid-to-high 70s. Algae is growing slower than past years, with decent visibility up to 4 feet. Water levels are down about 20 feet and will continue to drop. Water clarity is good with no visible algae

Water levels are approximately 2 feet below the bottom of the boat ramp, so boats cannot launch at this time. Water temperatures are measuring in the low 80’s at the boat ramp in the afternoon and there is still quite a bit of vegetation growing in the shallows. Water clarity is good with no visible algae.
