The ice remains eight to 10 inches thick throughout the reservoir and is in good shape. Anglers are having the best luck using night crawlers, but PowerBait in various colors has also been productive. Trout are measuring 10 to 13 inches. The campground is open.

Approximately 30 percent of the lake is open water, mostly near the dam where fishing has been good for rainbow trout. The fish are measuring 10 to 13 inches long and have been taking night crawlers and PowerBait.

The ice is holding at about eight to nine inches thick, but there are some thin spots, so use extreme caution when venturing onto the ice. Anglers are finding good action with using green or orange PowerBait as well as shrimp. In addition to rainbow trout averaging 11 to 13 inches in length, anglers also are catching brown trout and tiger trout.
