He was fishing from the shore just downstream from Harrah's Casino on the Arizona side, using a lure in the rainbow trout pattern. by PYRAMID FLY CO.
After a fun but unique October, colder weather and dropping water temps are finally here! And why are we so excited? Because it means colder water temps that are bringing the fish closer to the shoreline. It also means "Ditch the boat, get a ladder", or you can stand on shore. It's time, now until late April.   I'm sorry to say but it's hard to pick

Anglers have been having the best luck with rainbow trout from boats

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
Anglers have been having the best luck with rainbow trout from boats; most of them are using PowerBait or night crawlers in Adams McGill. With other fish, anglers are successful with spoons, Kastmasters, and Super Dupers. Heads-up that hunting season is in full swing, so keep in mind that anglers will need to share the waters.

Little taste of Winter on the Truckee River

by MATT KOLES
Little taste of Winter on the Truckee River. Finally done with the warm daytime temps. Good and bad right. It’s nice to have the t-shirt on in November, but those big fish like the nasty weather. I expect this week to be pretty good. When you get the water temps to crash, the bigger fish like to eat. It’s like they know Winter is coming. Should
