The Truckee River is fishing great right now. The best time to see hatches is in the mornings and evenings. In the mornings, anglers should be nymphing with pale morning duns, caddis, and various streamers. If anglers are streamer fishing, try using a light sink tip. In the evening, anglers have been seeing good dry fly activity. Some flies to try in the evening are

Weekly Water Temperature: 65 degrees  Wiper/ White Bass: Wiper and White bass have come out in force. These fish give a good fight for their size and can be caught on every cast.
