Fishing will be good this fall for Rainbow Trout. Water level is down 2-3 feet but still accessible for shoreline access to launch float tubes, pontoon boats, kayaks, etc. The vegetation is dense around the shoreline areas which will limit access some and anglers are recommended to use the south end for launching. Shore anglers will find access on the dam and west shore. Water temp was 62F near shore and will begin cooling down with the longer cooler nights. For the next couple of weeks, damselfly patterns will continue to work and then small flashy nymphs under indicators or stripping buggers will be effective. Spinners and spoons are good choices for gear anglers.

Special Regulations: Artificial lures only. Stream above reservoir is closed to fishing. Only boats
